Rochester Mills Christmas In July

Pours a murky brown color with a thin beige head. Strong aroma and flavor of ginger bread, cinnamon and nutmeg, it’s a bit too strong on the spices for my tastes. The body is light with a liquorous texture and moderate carbonation.

This draft brew from the Michigan Brewers Guild festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated red brown colored body. The strong aroma was spicy and heralb. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a spicy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of malt cinnamon nutmeg, strong herbal spices and many more. A decent complex one with an excellent aroma but not one that I would consider drinking again.
