COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout is not as bitter as the Sacri-licious Stout. It is brewed with milk sugar(lactose) to impart a fuller body and sweeter palate.

On tap. Very nice stout aroma. Chocolate comes through quite a bit. Taste is rather sweet. Palate is a little lighter than expected. Overall a nice stout but it lacks that oomph I was looking for.

This is a marvelous stout Sweet and full bodied but without being fatiguing. Lots of chocolate flavors. This is a great beer.

Much better done that the Sac-relige - this one has body and is considerably smooth, with a sweetish edge to the roasty notes.

MiBGF 07: Nearly opaque with a nice creamy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of bittersweet and milk chocolates, roasty malts, plum, smoke , lactic sourness and a bit yeasty. The taste has a nice creamy sweetness supported by mild acidity and lactic twang. The finish displays some coffee and hop bitterness. The mouth feel is creamy and smooth. This was a very solid brew and worth a try.

Dark beer out of the can with a short lived foamy tan head. Big chocolaty with some dusty grains. Molasses sweetness with chocolate, vanilla, lactose, roasted grains and a bitter coffee bean finish. This is pretty tasty and even better as it comes out of a can.

Draft from a somewhat local establishment. Dark in color, with thin tan head. Smell was slightly sweet. Smooth, creamy/milky taste with cocoa. Finish was of bitter coffee. Very drinkable, but would like it better without the finish.

Can. Pours dirty motor oil black with a reddish halo when held to to the light. Very small head but strong lacing. Aroma is not as strong as I would expect, faint sweetness and chocolate milk. Flavor is big and sweet molasses on the onset, followed by a very strong malt character of bitter chocolate and burnt toast. There are grassy hops in the finish. Rich and sweet, this. Would be excellent with a brownie or chocolate cake. Thanks, mikem409.

July 3, 2013 - can shared by Joe. Dark brown pour with limited head. Chocolate and cocoa in the aroma and taste. Little bit of lactose in there as well to give this a thin milkshake type experience.

At Goodfellow’s on Mackinac Island. Pours black with a tan head and aroma of roasted malt and creamy cocoa. Taste is sweet and creamy, of cocoa, roasted malt, and milk chocolate with a sweet, creamy finish. Solid, enjoyable stout

Bottle at Goodfellow’s, Mackinaw Island, Michigan, poured a deep black , no head. Nose is chocolate , malt and coffee. Taste is chocolate, with hints of vanilla, and sweetened nicely. Finish is sweet as well, and ends on the same tasting notes. Quaff Score 8 / 10
