This stout is not as bitter as the Sacri-licious Stout. It is brewed with milk sugar(lactose) to impart a fuller body and sweeter palate.

16 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours nearly pitch black color with a 1-2 finger foamy tan head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that eventually disappears. Minimal lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, caramel, toast, toffee, light coffee, cream, herbal, light floral, and roasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good dark/roasted malt balance; and decent strength. Taste of milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, toast, toffee, cream, herbal, light floral and roasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, toast, toffee, cream, herbal, and roasted earthiness on the finish for a bit. Good balance of dark/roasted malt, cocoa, and lactose flavors; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid milk stout. Good balance and robustness of dark/roasted malt, cocoa, and lactose flavors; and very smooth to drink. An enjoyable offering.

This beer pours from the can a dark smooth black. Almost looks thin. A foamy vanilla mocha colored head tops it off. A sugary toasted almond aroma. Flavors really revolve around the sugary sweetness from the milky vanilla ice cream notes mixed in with chocolate syrup. Very light overall. With its lack in overall flavors it makes up in other points. The milk chocolate flavors really leave a nice chewy layer on the mouth feel. Also surprisingly enough it feels somewhat thick. Which really pulls anything together that this had going for it. In the end a light stout that you can really drink quick... if that’s what you’re into.

On draft at Alexandria’s in Findlay. Pours a stout brown with an off-tan head. Nose is some sweet chocolate, some vanilla, an caramel with hints of lactose. Flavor starts off with sweet chocolate then moves to vanilla then to some lactose and maybe some dark chocolate. Light in body and lingering sweetness on the finish.

Pour on tap at HopCat, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark milk sugar, some chocolate, coffee, hints of spice into a bit of caramel, slight toffee, slight vanilla. Taste was a mix of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, hints of spice into some slight caramelized sugar, hints of lactose, finishing sweet.

Can: Dark brown, nearly black with a creamy, swindling beige head on top. Looks a touch thin. Aroma packed with milky chocolate, mostly sweet with a hint of roasted malts in the background. Light coffee with dry undertones to blunt the sweetness towards the finish. Mouth feel is slightly thin, but still retains a moderately creamy essence which is nice. Almost silky. Flavors of sweet baker’s chocolate, roasted malt, toasted nuts, & a good bit of coffee. Not black coffee, more like "heavy cream & sugar" type coffee. Creamy milky chocolate finish with a slight roasty bitter twinge for balance. Far from cloying, actually quite drinkable. Tasty stuff.

Large sample pour of deep brown to black with full khaki head. Nose is roasted malts and sweet caramel notes with lighter sugars. Flavor is smooth caramel and milky sweetness. Lactose qualities grow as it opens. Roast and malt presence more than anything. It’s pretty decently made.
