COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is an American version of the classic Belgian Wit style. It is a wheat beer brewed with sweet orange peel and coriander, but without the Belgian yeast. The result is a cleaner tasting beer without the fruity esters typical of that yeast strain. All ingredients used to brew this beer are certified organic. An orange slice offers a nice compliment and is available upon request. Wit’s Organic is served unfiltered

Orange colored beer. Has a slightly skunky/sour smell, with a hint of orange in the flavor finished with some light bitterness. Has a nice heavy body feel. Decent overall.

Rochester Mills Beer Co. Wits Organic. 6.1% ABV. 16 oz. pour, on tap at the brewpub on 2-12-13. Pours a hazy, orange/yellow-tinted straw color. Very small amount of beige head. Aromas of orange citrus, lemon, and a bit of bubblegum. Sharp smell. Flavor matches the aroma. Tangy and sour citrus taste. Dry finish. Hits the spot. Medium body. Frothy, somewhat lively, and silky in the palate. Filling. Flavorful and aromatic. This is not a great beer but it is a pretty good one that satisfies my palate. 7/3/7/3/13=>3.3

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of coriander, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of eggs, coriander, malt, and fruits, leading to a dry finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Botella. Murky golden like colour, short white head. Wheaty yeasty sour aroma with spice. Ok mouthfeel. Tart ... sour actually, wheaty fruit yeasty spiced bit flavour. Not so so bad but I’m sure it was not intented to be sour like this....
