Location/Date:Bottle on October 24, 2012 from Ben.

Appearance: Pours a clear reddish brown.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel malt.
Taste: Light bitterness, lots of caramel, at times too sweet.
Palate:Light body, a little bit of fizz, lingering aftertaste.

Summary: Thanks for the Ticks Six Ben! My first rating of the pack, and my second Rock Art rating. This beer is a bit unbalanced to me, overly sweet and needs more hop punch.

Amber to hold appearance. 2 finger head that doesn't stick around. Nice clarity. Smells like honey and apricot. Starts with a honey taste. Sort of an earthy potatoes and rice taste. Some floral characters dry finish

ben4321 (4092) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/2/12

Aroma: The nose is sweet malts, caramel, roasted malts, bread, and light fruity notes
Appearance: This beer pours a clear caramel-orange color with a small white head and no lace
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, with most;y caramel and bread notes, and lightly bitter finish
Palate: The body is light and feels fairly watery, with a dull, tingly mouthfeel, and a dry, metallic finish
Overall Impression: I wasn’t at all impressed by this one. Though the beer as a whole wasn’t exciting, I found the mouthfeel to be the weakest part.

12 oz bottle purchased @Tully’s Beer and Wine. Wells, ME. Nice presentation in the English Pint. Thin off white head. No lace. Nose is malt and toffee. Taste is roasted aroma, rye bread. A strange hop taste lingers in the finish, I had this bottle awhile. It was a bottle that got pushed around in my fridge, so it’s not real fresh. That being said, still ok.

Part of a tasting at the brewery in Morrisville. Nothing great here...just kinda ticking this off the list. It was ok.

pours a dark reddish brown color. roasted caramel malts in the nose... reminds me of a German beer so far. some nice smooth tasting darker malts.more like a brown ale than amber ale. very easy to drink but barely anything to taste. session-able but forgettable.

Bottle in Johnson. It’s OK. A generally malty, bready ale. Not much hop to it. A bit of metal in the finish which isn’t great, but it’s solid.
