2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear amber-red with no head. Next to no aroma-some hops, malts. Taste is reasonably smooth with some bitterness at the end. Overall, a very average beer.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Brownish red, aroma is bitter raisins and a soysauce character. Sweet maltyness predominates. Hint of buttery sweetness. Thin and one dimensional. Hardly any bitterness, watery feeling.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a deep reddish brown amber with an average foamy/creamy light tan head that left lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee, very malty with light hop notes. Flavor was also malty and had this copper/metallic thing going on. Also getting some toasted malts, nuts and agai some hints of hops but not much. Not sure what the metallic is all about.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear reddish dark brown, ppoured very fizy with a quickly vanishing tan head. Looks like a root beer. Aroma of dark cakey malt (like a lighter German chocolate cake), some molasses and dried berry and citrus scents. Flavor was off-sweet and malty, with some tangy hops in the back and a bit of a lemony or orangey tartness on the finish. Palate a little thin and overcarbonated. Not bad, not mind blowing.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Certainly looks like a red. Malty nose is a surprise based on their other offerings. Nice mixed, sweet malty flavors as well. Then it kinda falls flat. Good effort overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Quite a surprise. The aroma is of medium roastiness, red malt, and indeed some black chocolate. The appearance is of a blackish amber. The flavor is sweet and caramely and with a dash of hops. What it lacks however is a powerful finish, it does maintain a lingering taste of carmel and red malt but a bolder bang at the end would have done more.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught: Hazy red in the glass. Aroma and flavor both offer the same in the form of a sweet malty flavor. Finish had some but not much in the way of hops.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Better for me than many of the reviews I see here. Cerrtainly not overcarbonated, perhaps a bad bottle for Davecooks?
Dark red, near brown, with persistent off-white head and pleasant lacing. Nose of malt, tending towards candy sugar. Firm malt up front and throughout. Finished clean with a mild hop bite.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Via trade with Doclock. I find the label a bit ironic- I’ve been drinking micro brewed beer from the southwest for sixteen years or so and the first one with a Kokopelli on the label comes from Vermont, go figure. Oh my God, can you say CARBONATION? It looks and sounds like a Coke when you pour it. You’d be hard pressed to convince me it was a beer if you where handing the glass to me. Malty, caramel aromas. Very thin malt flavor. Overly carbonated. Understated flavor, no hops. Dry cardboard aftertaste.
