pours a dark reddish brown color. roasted caramel malts in the nose... reminds me of a German beer so far. some nice smooth tasting darker malts.more like a brown ale than amber ale. very easy to drink but barely anything to taste. session-able but forgettable.

Decent red. Has a caramel aroma with some bread and a hint of fruit. The flavor has the caramel and a bit of the fruit. Fairly well balance, dry and refreshing.

Tap. A little malt up front but dominated by roasted flavors that didnít blend very well. It was drinkable, but I didnít care for the flavor.

Pours a dark amber with a light tan head. Aroma of bright orange citrusy hops surrounded by a syrupy malt backbone. Taste is only subtly sweet at the start. Quickly taken over by a nutty roasted flavor accented by a note of hazelnut. Worth a sixer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yeasty aroma. Pours out dark copper with an off-white frothy head. A slightly better than average taste with slightly better than average hop characteristics. I would drink again if it wasnít dry on the back end.

12oz bottle in a bulb. Pours amber with a small head. Aroma of pale and grainy malts plus some floral hops. Flavor the same, with light hops. Average texture. Bottle might be a little old, need to try fresh.

Pours a slightly hazy dark copper color with a smallish off white head that doesnít stick around very long. The aroma is quite malty with lots of caramel and toffee with hints of chocolate and a faint earthy hop deep underneath. The flavor follows the aroma quite well with toffee and caramel in the foreground and hints of chocolate and earthy hop bringing up the rear. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet light syrupy mouthfeel. Decent beer, feels like a brown ale at times, but itís a nice gateway style beer.

Mild caramel aroma, pours a clear amber with a minimal white head. Mild bitter taste at the beginning, quickly fading to bready malts. Not much going on with this beer, itís easy drinking and inoffensive.

Bottle. Pours a dark brownish red color. Nose of light sugar sweetness, caramel, and brown sugar. Palate is smooth and clean. Flavors of caramel, spicy hop notes, and brown sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
