3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden amber DIPA with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with good floral hops, citrus pulp, herbaceous character, very nice. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt with good floral hops, grapefruit, pungent and piney, very nice.

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very smooth for a dipa, nice aroma and the simcoe hops give it a refreshing taste with a slightly dry bitterness at the end. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fine "Vermont" made double IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle from the Brewery about 2 weeks ago. Nose is a very pleasant mix of citrus fruit and toasted caramel malt. Flavor is balanced when cold. As it was the bitterness really takes over. Flavors of Caramel malt, grapefruit pith, mango and sugar notes. The resin comes out when it’s warm. Also Alcohol is noticeable in the finish. I liked it when it was chilled, as it warmed it became a bit harsh. Well; I will say it lives up to the “Extreme” bitterness label.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours burnt orange with a white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, earthy and a touch of caramel. Taste is moderate bitter throughout with some light sweetening. Medium bodied, crisp drying finish, alcohol hidden well. Drinks easy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle pours a clear orange with some frothy, lacing, white head. Soapy nose, fairly pungent hops, grapefruit zest, lemon zest, pine needles. Flavor is malty, some honey, some agave syrup, then loads of sticky hops, pine, lemon, grapefruit, orange candied. Full, sticky finish. A bit sloppy, but pretty good overall.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Out of the bomber and into my snifter, it poured a beautiful hazy orange and left the same color body. A half centimeter white foamy head concaves gently into the body. The smell had rich fruity notes up front with hops backing it up very strong. Malts were more subdued. The taste was pretty much the same. The palate was about a medium with some slight sharpness on the tongue. At 8% for the ABV, the alcohol was fairly hidden well which lead to fairly sessionable beer. Overall, this would be a hop forward double IPA, I liked it for the most part, but probably won’t seek it out again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nose is caramel, pine, strong flowers. The appearance is slightly murky red, translucent, white head. The flavor is just like the aroma, maybe a little more bread in additiona to caramel maltyness. The finish is perfumy, floral hops. Medium in body, lots of carbonation. Pretty nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a clear coppery orange with a medium foamy beige head with good retention. Aroma of toasted bread, biscuity malts, and mild piney and resinous hops, though rather mild on the hop character. Flavour of faded, muted piney hops, lots of caramel malt, toasted bread, and some wood. For a fresh bottle, this is surprisingly muted on the hops and features a much heavier caramel malt backbone without the often-accompanying sweetness from more malt-heavy IIPAs. Rather lively carbonation for the style, more so than I’d desire from an IPA. All in all, solid but with obvious flaws.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Whole Foods Market Paramus. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of resin, pine and floral hops with faint pale malts. The taste is big citrus, herbal and resin hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, average carbonation. Definitely on the dry and hoppy side, but a solid DIPA.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Strong aroma of citrus and pine hop scents and grass odors.
Tastes follows suite with hop notes of grapefruit, orange rinds and pine. Not much malt flavor. A strong bitter flavor which doesn’t quite follow into the aftertaste.
Palate is relatively thin, but doesn’t take away from the ale. Alcohol is noticeable on the palate, but not when not held.
Overall, a very hoppy beer with little to no malt flavor and a strong bitterness.
