Hazy amber in color with a small off white head. Aroma: moderate citrus, earthy, and floral hops, molasses, and a touch of alcohol. Taste is malty with molasses, earth, and a moderate hop profile. Gets muddled, and doesn’t seem to have much direction. Alcohol gets moderate in the finish. Moderate bitterness. Wasn’t crazy about this.

Slightly hazy deep amber pour with a foamy tan head. Aroma of light roasted malt and grapefruity and floral hops. Lots of sweet malt in the flavor as well, with the grapefruit coming through on the dry, not so bitter finish. Smooth and highly drinkable, but not really what I was expecting from a DIPA.

bomber poured a lighter amber in color with a one finger head that faded to a skim coat on the top with slow mediocre carbination. aroma is very light for a double ipa, fruit hops, caramel malt, grass, some citrus, and light dough. flavor hits better than the smell, hop bite mid tongue, citrus peel, heavy dose of malt, heavier carbination than evident in the glass, has a bitter finish that somewhat lingers on for a bit and alcohol present. not sure where they are going with the food pairings on the label in my opinion this would be terrible with pink Alfredo sauce and peppers. nice try but not a top contender here.
