3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 johnnnniee (1496) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours a slightly chill hazed medium peach color with a decent sized white head that recedes slowly leaving lots of sticky lace in its wake. Smells of light bready and toffee malt sweetness with grapefruit and lemons hop aromas. The flavor is bready malt with a solid shot of old school ipa citrus. Lots of citric hop bitterness and flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick almost tart mouthfeel. Nice citrus forward IPA that reminds me a lot of Harpoon. I could drink this regularly
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Scrapersnbeer (979) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Soapy pine aroma, like doing the wash with beers. Average orange, surprise two finger head. Mildly bitter, starchy sweetness. Needs a heavier body. Passes muster for an IPA ten years ago, less so now.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hockeybeerguy (212) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 23, 2013
It poured a brownish gold and maintained a good haziness in the body. There was a lot of carbonation and it took a good three minutes before the head dissipated. Bubbles formed around the head on the sides before the head dissipated. Once it settled a small mushroom cap of a head centered in the beer. The smell was the pine and the hops with some spices in the background. The taste was the hops with the spices in the background. Some bready malts came out in the taste along with a slightly sweet aftertaste. The palate was a light to medium and mainly drinkable, decently balanced. Overall, pretty good for the style, I’d have it again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nephilium (1151) - Ohio, USA - DEC 12, 2012
Nice clean grassy hop aroma, with a hint of caramel. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head, with visible sediment floating in it. A quick pop of hops, that quickly fade, with a bit too much carbonation. Not a terrible IPA, just not that good of one.

On tap at the 20th Vermont Brewers Festival. Hazy amber with an off white head. Citrus hoppiness and grains with a bit of malt; moderate carbonation and mild flavour. Nothing too exciting but its a refreshing beer on a summer day.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beerathon (590) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2012
I love RateBeer, been using it a ton since the turn of the calendar to 2012. However, sometimes I just shake my head when I see a beer’s rating on here. This one for instance is rating very low. I thought it was a solid IPA. Orange color, sticky white head. Citrus, floral, piney aroma. Taste a bit watery, like it to be heavier in the mouth, but still good.
