COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Ah taste and smell the hops!" A hoppy ale that is mildly bitter. Brewed with the finest pale malt available and a touch of flaked barley. Cascade hops are used to make a hop tea that is added directly to the brite tank for a Rock Art twist on an age old favorite. (SUMMER SEASONAL) Now available in 22 oz. bottles!

On tap at The Hub in Johnson. I generally liked it, straightforward flavors, some hop but not outrageous. I’ll call it drinkable (and I’m sure I’ll drink more while I’m here).

Pours an orange color with a thin tan head. Taste is pretty well balanced, some citrus notes, sweetness, very low on the hops. Smooth and drinkable, but I prefer my IPAs with more hops.

Cask at Flatbread. Orange-brown with white head. Earthy, floral hops in the nose, and grassy, floral, subdued hops in the flavor. Smooth.

A hazed amber IPA with a super thick off white head. Light muskey hops aroma, with some caramel malts. In mouth, a lightly maerized malt with smooth british hops, a bit watery. Ok at best.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a yellow white head. Caramel and pine with some light citrus notes. To much caramel is all i am thinking, wheres the IBU’s, a bit soapy and light stricken, tastes a bit like its been denatured. A poor ipa.

I am shocked at how low this beer scored. I thought it was pretty good. Its appearance is great. Nice deep amber hue with a tall off white head. Piney hops and a mild finish. This beer is well balanced with a lighter hops flavor than I usually look for in an IPA but it was still a good drinking beer.

Bottle. Very mild citrusy aroma. Clear golden body, off-white head. Flavor is mild, mostly nondescript, with a disappearing finish. Not particularly interesting, I’m afraid.
