22oz bomber. Pours a hazy light brown color with a finger of tan head. Not sure if this is an old bottle, but aroma of strong caramel malts. Taste of roasted and caramel malts, resin, and earthy hops.

Caramel starch and stone aroma. Every Rock Art product has this, so I’ve given up on thinking each bottle is just old. Murky tan to brown color. Heavy unspecific bitterness rises and falls over a sickly sweet backbone. Relatively heavy body and obvious alcohol presence. Whenever I see something labeled EXTREME I am mentally taken to kayaking in a 7-11, but $1.50 for a beer dubbed ESB Squared (or cubed perhaps), how could I not?

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Clear, bright amber-orange with large 3-finger yellow-cream head and very good lacing. Aroma of pine, earthy citrus, bread and caramel. Taste of pine, earthy citrus, grass and grain. The earthy citrus is like the lemon aroma in many household cleaning products. I do not mean that in a bad way, but it does bring back those memories. Medium body and high/medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brown hazy. 3 finger hint of yellow head Nose is pineapple and mango. Some nutty characters. Very bitter sort of astringent pine cones and maple syrup. Super dry astringent finish. Fruity at times

Caramel, citrus, and some flowery hops in the aroma. Flavor is bready with caramel, brown sugar, and dark fruit. Pine bitterness, more citrus, and a little alcohol in the finish. I’ve had a few other things from this brewery that were decent at best, but this is outstanding.

From a bomber purchased at a health food store in Burlington Vermont. Pours a murky, unfiltered brownish. Lots of white frothy head and lacing as well. Aroma is very nice. Skunky, earthy, musty aroma with some mushrooms as well. Mouthfeel is moderate with a bit too much carbonation. Taste is bitter with skunk, wood, dirt, moss, chalk and lime. Overall, pretty good. Never been a fan of rock art, and this didn’t change my mind, but its worth a drink.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/20/12

Aroma: The nose has some orange/citrus, a little spice/tea, candied sugar notes, and a little earth
Appearance: Pours a clearish orange color with a lasting sheet of white head and medium-plus lace
Flavor: It has tea and spice up-front, not super sweet, and finishes with a light-mid hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it feels fairly creamy, a touch sticky, has a soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one worked pretty well, and improved a good bit as it warmed. Rock Art makes some pretty mediocre beers, but this is by far one of the better things I’ve tried from them. This one is worth trying for sure.

22 ox bottle. Pours a deep orange/gold with a 2 finger off white head. Strong earthy hop aroma greets the nose with a bit of biscuit in the background. Flavor is more pine resin than the nose would suggest. Full in the mouth with a bitter finish. Overall, a nice brew that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

I wish they had ESB this good in the UK and at 8%. It's definitely a highly hopped American style ESB. Very tasty! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber delivered by the wonderful wife. Sturdy malt foundation with rigid, upper crust hops with an attitude of superiority. Damn English ba$tards...scalp them....oh, ok, this isn’t the leather-stocking tales. Well the beer does have the word tomahawk in it..hence the violence. Lovely rich and deep amber in the glass. Average head. Nose of quick hop then subdued malts...Its those English being reserved and all...I say slaughter them all... and send them back to their cold moldy island...The Colonies are no more..go home you!...
