Bomber delivered by the wonderful wife. Sturdy malt foundation with rigid, upper crust hops with an attitude of superiority. Damn English ba$tards...scalp them....oh, ok, this isn’t the leather-stocking tales. Well the beer does have the word tomahawk in it..hence the violence. Lovely rich and deep amber in the glass. Average head. Nose of quick hop then subdued malts...Its those English being reserved and all...I say slaughter them all... and send them back to their cold moldy island...The Colonies are no more..go home you!...

I had the second half of a pony keg of this all to myself, left over after a housewarming party, years ago (it was a very intimate gathering). Flavor and aroma dominated by hops, big thick foaming head, very cloudy/hazy look to it. Tied w/ Vermonster for my favorite Rock Art.

Bottle. Poured orange with a tall creamy off-white head that had some lasting and left good lace. The aroma found light citrus and light toasted malt. The flavor found orange citrus, floral, and a light malt backing. Medium body and a mild bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle: hazy orange pour. Nose is very floral and grass trimmings. Sweet body with a touch of caramel, fruit juices. Plenty of crystal malts but dries out suddenly and strongly into more grass, dry hops and bitter. Floral, orange peel. The tongue retains the sweetness better as it warms up a bit and is nicely balanced, though some cotton-mouth expected.

Coppery amber orange in color with a whitish head. Punchy and full with a bitterness in the finish. Hoppy with a bit of spice and a little citrus in the flavor. Nice, strong, and would go with a variety of meals.

pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a head that leaves a thin film on top. aroma is a bit boozy hint of grapes along with some typical citrus hops. Mmmm caramel malts mix well with the hops used to make a deliciously bitter beer. taste is a bit piney. very cheap beer but not cheaply made. a steal for the price.
