Bottle 07 vintage. Pours a rich dark brown with a two finger tan head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, brown sugar, light chocolate and notes of spices. Flavor is light to medium bodied and is moderatly sweet with caramel, brown sugar, roasted malts, and with a light smokiness. Decent brew

Pours dark mahogany with crimson edging. A huge, rocky, beige head filled with medium sized bubbles developed. Batter-like froth clung to the edges of the glass after the head fell, but all lacing dissapeared after the first two sips. Aromatics are rich, malty, and bready. Proofing dark bread leads off, with powdered chocolate and drizzled caramel following through. Slightly roasty and buiscuity. Medium bodied and on the creamy side, with some residuals lingering on the tongue. The pallet is more subdued than the nose, with the bready malts still apparent, but a very well attenuated malt character leaves one begging for a little more Munich character. Bitterness is nill and balancing the slightly sweet maltiness. Fresh bread crusts, cocoa dust, and a hint of toffee round out nicely. Finishes fairly dry, with some faintly lingering residuals. Alcohol is without a trace, and the beer is very drinkable albeit a bit on the thin side.

Thanks to Aaron for this one. Dark brown body, tan head lingers, then recedes to a thin layer of bubbles. Light fruity aroma with some caramel noticeable. Smooth spiced flavor, has a fruit roll up resemblance.

22oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a slightly hazy, reddish-brown color; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Toasted cereal and roasted malts in the aroma; some bitter coffee / chocolate poking through. Medium mouthfeel: dark chocolate, toasted / lightly roasted malts, and some brown sugar; slight dryness; lots of chocolate and coffee coming through mid-palate. Medium, chocolate and toasty malt finish.
