Forgettable pale ale with some light grassy lemony hops and toasty malts. Very light in every aspect but not unpleasant.

Draft at Prohibition Pig. Snifter shows me a bright gold with a thick cap of white head. Big Citra hop influences. Nose and flavor run together. Bursts of tropical fruit upfront and light traces of floral hops in the backend. It’s balanced with a moderate amount of pale malt sweetness. Juicy tropical fruits make it real easy to down. The body is a bit on the thin side but has a light pleasant lingering bitterness.

On draft at propig, really grainy, light hop flavors, pretty tasty stuff, not bad for something that came out of rock art

On tap at Prohibition Pig: pours clear yellow with a thin head. Aroma is pine and a little floral. Flavor is floral , a little pine, and that Rock Art shit water flavor. Very thin bodied and astringent on the back end. Malt does not balance the hops, and there really isn’t a lot going on here. Pro Pig needs to put their name on something better than this.

In short: A very hoppy-aromatic blonde pale ale with a fruity-floral character. Good beer.
How: Tap at Prohibition Pig, Waterbury VT.
The look: Partly cloudy golden blonde body topped by a medium white head.
In long: The relatively powerful nose is very floral with fruity undertones. In mouth the beer has a comfortable full body with active carbonation. Taste has solid bready malt backbone, very much like a baguette without the crust, solid body but discreet flavors, low sweetness sensation. Very hoppy, strong floral character, somewhat resinous. Bitterness intensity is relatively high for a Pale Ale. Overall sensation of juicy hops essence. This beer is very much a piece of fresh white bread soaked in concentrate bitter hops essence. I like drinking beer at Prohibition Pig but I just hate when I’m all of a sudden I hear on the speakers “Would the owner of a gray Toyota Corolla licenced in Quebec please come to the front and acknowledge that our house-smoked pork is better than your poutine”.
