COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each season we brew this wheat ale with real Vermont maple syrup. The ale is light golden color just like real maple syrup. This has a light maple flavor with a mildly sweet body. Pale, wheat and carapils malts are used with Tettnanger and Cascade hops and pure Vermont Maple Syrup.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Paramus. Pours a hazy light brown color with a fizzy off-white head that fades almost instantly. Aroma of wheat, apples, faint nuts and maple. The taste is wheat, nuts, maple, some toastiness and a mild hop finish. Medium bodied, high carbonation. A little weak, but okay.

2013-04-27. Crisp amber body, small white head and light lace. Sweet maple aroma, mild sweet pale malt notes. Flavour has light maple notes but it is over shadowed by mild bitterness and a tangy quality that I don’t care for. Smooth average bodied palate. On tap at Reservoir, Waterbury.

Pours clear copper with weak loose somewhat white head of foam. The aroma has some wheat notes and a sweet malt enhanced floral sensation. The taste is nice and wheat like and almost pulling up a bitter note but that’s filled in with sweetness that tastes a little like maple syrup. This has a nice balance where I get a touch of sweet fruity esters joining the other notes into the finish.

(Rating #4311)

[5274-20130427] Tap. Rich maple walnut aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Maple-infused grainy malt flavour has a touch of something nutty in the background. Medium body. Really interesting but a bit too much maple. (7+/3/7-/3/12) 3.2

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of banana esters, candy sugariness and creamy wheat. Malty and creamy wheat on the tongue first, then some caramel before a semi-dry maple finish.

Glowing amber coloured body with a copper tint and a very odd, soda-like carbonation that keeps buzzing at the top, but without a head at all, very interesting. Aroma of maple, soda, sugar and a little cherry scent. Medium-bodied; Very mild, maple flavour at first with some bread, yeast, sugars and not much else, perhaps a touch of malt. Aftertaste shows a very mild characteristic with perhaps some maple, but not much of anything, really. Overall, a pretty interesting beer with hardly any flavour, no complexity and no malt depth at all. Not really worth trying, especially for the price. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 28-May-2012 for US$5.55 sampled at home in Washington on 12-October-2012.

Sample at the Vermont Brewers Fest. Finally, after three years, I get to try a little sample of this to rate without paying for a growler! Why did I hesitate so long? Because I knew it wasn’t going to be worth it, and damn if I didn’t act intelligently. Only faintly discernible maple sugar nose...very light body, with a bit of wheaty sourness but almost no maple or anything else. Watery and boring in the extreme.

22oz bomber from EZ Liquors. Poured an ugly slightly muddy orange/amber with a small quick fading mostly white bubbly head. Aroma is muddy maple syrup, big empasis on the mud, wet leaves, stale dough. The body is watery with an average duration on the aftertaste with lively carbonation. Flavor is much like the aroma, bad earth notes, slight bad syrup sweetness, weird dough and earth combo. Overall this is still bad.
