COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each season we brew this wheat ale with real Vermont maple syrup. The ale is light golden color just like real maple syrup. This has a light maple flavor with a mildly sweet body. Pale, wheat and carapils malts are used with Tettnanger and Cascade hops and pure Vermont Maple Syrup.

Bottle. Pours a amber color with copper highlited and a small white head. Nose is sweet and mapley. Palate is medium with a decent bite followed by a sticky malt touch. Flavors of grassy hops with sticky sap notes and a rich burnt maple flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Too thin for a maple beer for me. Copper pour. Syrup and caramel in nose. Wheat comes through in taste. Watery though and too sweet to me. The maple doesn't blend. Interesting idea but not there.

Pours a cloudy pale-amber with a moderate white head that dissipates quickly to a ring. Not much lacing. Nose is malt and maple. Taste is sugary sweet. Fairly thin, vigorous carbonation. Decent ale. I like it, but not a go to brew.

from the 650 ml. bottle with February notched out of the label. A slightly cloudy amber-red pour with a modest cream colored head sticking around up top. Aroma of caramel malts, maple syrup, and wheat in that order. Light to medium body. The maple flavor kicks in more so in the taste followed by the caramel malts and wheat and it ends slightly dry and earthy.

Pours a hazy orange amber with the aroma of maple. Taste is wheat dry, maple and vanilla. Well balanced.

Rcvd in trade. Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a red/amber colored clear body with a two finger white foamy head that rapidly dissipates and leaves a tad of lacing in its wake. The smell had a maple aroma up front but not overbearing just combined nicely with some light malt and wheat, slight apples very faint. The taste was mainly sweet with the previously mentioned flavors, maple becomes predominant and lingers into aftertaste and finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium, sessionable, adequate carbonation. Overall, wow, what a nice brew, unsure if its truly an APA, but hey I’d have this one again.

[5274-20130427] Tap. Rich maple walnut aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Maple-infused grainy malt flavour has a touch of something nutty in the background. Medium body. Really interesting but a bit too much maple. (7+/3/7-/3/12) 3.2

Bottle from the brewery. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts, maple and wheat. Flavor was quite sweet with maple, pale malts, wheat and yeast.

Purchased at Burlington on late March 2013 and drunk on late November, so maybe it took more than half year when my sample was brewed. The first aroma is Maple and this aroma dominate all the aroma. Taste is sweet but the high carbonation decrease the sweetness and impresses not so sweet. Low alcohol but warm. Nice maple ale.

650 mL bottle. Hazy, rusty amber with not much head. You wouldn’t know this is a wheat beer from the aroma; all sweetness and that vegetal note you get when maple boils down. The flavour is just too sweet, and it really thins out at the end. Not enough of a base; the wheat is obliterated.

2013-04-27. Crisp amber body, small white head and light lace. Sweet maple aroma, mild sweet pale malt notes. Flavour has light maple notes but it is over shadowed by mild bitterness and a tangy quality that I don’t care for. Smooth average bodied palate. On tap at Reservoir, Waterbury.
