CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Feb 6, 2005 Sampled at the 2005 EBF, barrel-aged version: Pours a dark brown with a thin light tan head. Rich toffee, chocolate, and roasted malt aroma. Sweet malty body with nice caramel malty complexity has some pleasant toasted malt attributes as well. A little thin for an imperial, but nicely balanced and drinkable. cfranz (261), Acton, Massachusetts, USA Nov 28, 2004 On draft at the Braintree restaurant. Light bodied, yet dark in color.
