On tap at Rock Bottom Boston, 3 October 2009. Hazy amber. Herbaceous, moist hop aroma. Some spicy notes. Good citric grip in the flavour. Strong gooseberry leaf character. A very decent, serviceable IPA - no blockbuster but nicely pungent and refreshing. More West Coast than East Coast in style.

Tap at the Boston location: Hazy golden with a dense off white head. Fresh zesty hop aroma- some centennial character & light bready undertones. Nice mild carbonation. Some centennial character in the flavor as well. Zesty citrus with a touch of lemon- mildly piny on the back. A simple/typical, but solid IPA.

Probably my favorite IPA I have tasted to date. I don’t go out of my way to find or drink them, but I will always try one in a sampler. I actually had a few of these.

Draught at Rock Bottom Boston. I really wasn’t particularly thrilled with this one. Although it might just be the hops shortage taking its toll, this beer, like a lot of IPAs that I’ve tasted lately has just an enormous raw hops taste, not smooth, it was like drinking grass. It still gets a pretty good rating as I’m rather partial to hops flavor anyways, but I would greatly prefer a beer that with a much smoother hops bitterness.

Easily the best of their beers. The only one that has much taste. It is still a little watery though. Grapefruit hops dominate the flavor. Kind of fizzy and carbonated, lacking in malts. Went well with the meal though.
