En fût. Verre de dégustation dégusté à l’établissement de Boston (MA). Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes et d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est blonde orangée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux avec une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes sucrés avec une pointe de banane. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence d’agrumes en arrière goût. (Rating #1101)

Sampler from tap at the brewpub in Boston. Pours amber, clear with a lacing head. Light wineous malty aroma. Flavour is wineous, clear alcohol presence. Malty light sweet with a vaue dried fruit touch. Mild bubblegum flavour. Malty finish.

On tap at the Boston location Spring of 2007. Pours a hazy deeper golden amber with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma of various tropical fruits, some banana, Belgian candy sugar, spices and yeast. Kind of peppery. Flavor of banana, citrus, Belgian spice and yeast, light alcohol, some peppery. This was a young Belgian strong and was a bit hot. Picked up some lemon and honey as it warmed up and on the dry side. Bottle this one and age it!

2004 draught @ BBF. Pale gold in color, with a thick syrupy like presence though. Pretty typical head formation and retention of a strong golden ale. Smells sweet, like there is a ton of residual sugar in this one, light pepery yeast and bit of alcohol. Flavor was pretty standard for the style. Fruity esters highly pronounced with a big sweet malt backbone and a fluffy mouthfeel. They could have used some more aggressive spicing to dry this one out, as it was a bit too sweet, but it was certainly well-made other than that.

Golden in color with a slight haze and a small white head. Extreme aroma of fruit,banana,bubble gum and sweet malt. Flavors of sweet malt,fruit and spice.
