yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 30, 2007 Sampler from tap at the brewpub in Boston (listed as OSheas irish stout). Pours dark brown with a creamy brown head. Mild toffee malty aroma. Mild roasted malt flavour, mildly dry. Creamy mouthfeel. Lingers nicely into the finish with a soft maltiness. ClarkVV (3560), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Oct 7, 2004 2004 draught (Boston). Dark brown with some light greyish tinges and a small beige head. Aroma of black malt, light chocolate and a hint of roast grains. Tastes pretty milky and chocolatey, with some coffee and roast, but otherwise fairly average and unadventurous. I did like the noticeably high amount of chocolate malt. Quite watery, but still has some chew to it. A bit chalky, with low carbonation and almost no bitterness. TaktikMTL (2100), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada Jul 3, 2007 En fût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture crémeuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de café en arrière goût. Aroma of roasted malts and earthy hops. The flavor is roast, nuts, with a dry metallic finish. The body was once again watery.
