Brownish color, light head and lacing. Nose of light tinny toffee and caramel. The flavor is a bit lotiony, some sweet malt. Eh, boring. Thin body. Has a cloudy dark apple cider-type appearance. Pleasant chocolate/caramel aroma. Nice brown ale overall - chocolate, caramel - not wimpy or bland. Good hop presence in the finish; well-balanced. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Good.
