Sampled on tap RB Chicago. Brown color beige head and a little lacing. Aroma has a hint of chocolate or dark malt but a little difficult to detect. Malt flavors, chocolate, coffee, watery but decent. Bakers chocolate in the finish. Not bad for a brown.

On tap at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Brown and malty and crude. Too much malt, some fruit. Too malty, bit like vinegar. Horrible.

Draught at Brewpub during RBSG DC 06 Weekend Brownish color, light head and lacing. Nose of light tinny toffee and caramel. The flavor is a bit lotiony, some sweet malt. Eh, boring. Thin body.

On tap at RB Chicago, Aug 2006. Has a cloudy dark apple cider-type appearance. Pleasant chocolate/caramel aroma. Nice brown ale overall - chocolate, caramel - not wimpy or bland. Good hop presence in the finish; well-balanced. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Good.
