Draft @ FoBAB 2009, Chicago, IL. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity woody yeasty spicy sour aroma. Fruity malty yeasty sour brett flavor with hints of citrus. Has a fruity sour tart funky woody finish.

sampled at FOBAB 2009... poured a cloudy raspberry red with a thin white head. 6 for the aroma with no notes!... flavors of tart and sweet raspberries. light and soft on the palate.... i must have lost all concentration at this point. lol.

FoBAB. For HonkeyBra, Clare is Pete’s wife. This was actually one of my favorite sours of the day at FoBAB and I am hoping for a lot more. Pours gold. Sour aroma of the brett, and raspberries. Tart and funky, this was a great beer.

Sampled at FoBAB 09. Not sure who Clare is but she has an influence on the brewer. Pour golden with some head. Aroma of funky hay, earth, and raspberries. Flavor is a funk fruity punch to the face. Pretty good of a sour ale for Rock Bottom. Obviously they know what’s going on.

FoBAB ’09, pours hazed golden-amber with white head. nose of fresh raspberries and brett. flavor is very sour! with raspberries, a bit bland in the fruit dept but this was still good with a healthy dose of bretty funk! Pete’s sours are tasty and probably the first? (and only?) rock bottom sour ales.

Sampled at FoBAB 2009. Pours a nice hazy lively golden body, small whitish head. Aromas are tart, citrus and peach, with some lively brett. A bit of flaked wheat, a bit of alcohol heat. Initial is raspberries, citric acid, lacto, lemon and citrus, flaked wheat and peaches. Nice body, lively. Very nice.
