Taster at RBC. Bright brass color in the tiny glass. A thin meringue of foam. Insubstantial ale smell common to Blonde Ales. Taste does offer some honey sweetness if you roll it on your tongue. Very little ester or hop to compete against the sweetness. But a clean finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2012 Re-rate of 2012 version. Pours a faintly hazed blonde with persistent white head. Nose is bready, subtle floral notes from the honey. Taste is much the same. Quite clean with a refreshing floral honey quality. An improvement. 6-4-6-3-12 3.1
Draft at Rock Bottom downtown. Pours a pale blonde, virtually clear. Stiff white head. Nose is pretty inoccuous, subtle floral honey notes, grainy malt. Pretty standard, no really estery notes to speak of. On taste, somewhat bland and light. I get some cracker malt notes and minimal hopping. Pretty non-descript and not really worth the time. 6-4-4-2-9 2.5
