3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On cask at GTMW. Poured milky yellow with a huge, creamy cap of white head. The aroma picked up dusty herbal notes and a whole lot of lemon.. mixed with peppery yeast and held up by some pale malts.. the fruit was a bit too dominant, but not bad. The flavor was dominated by lemongrass and white pepper with milder dry spices behind.. pale malt and sourdough base.. long lemony finish. Zesty and too aggressive with the lemon and spices on the palate.. felt very carbonated.. balance was just off.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Draught) Pours a cloudy light yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, lemon melange pie, mustiness, earth, and light barnyard. Flavor of lemon, grassy/herbal, earth, and some sugar sweetness with a bitter finish. Much better than I anticipated.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at GTMW 2009 (Madison, WI). Pours a a hazy yellow, apple sauce or lemon juice, good natural head that laces well, bright white. Aromas are light barnyard or maybe just dusty farmhouse, light spice, and lemon rind. Initial is barnyard, very light belgian with spice, very similiar to the Razz. But, lemon rind in place of the first. Barnyard is a little stronger in this one than the razz. I preferred the Razz a little more though. Pretty good.
