pint_size (1004), Austin, Texas, USA May 4, 2008 4-23-08 tap
Clear watery pale yellow color with no head and no pigment really. Smell is doughy. Flavor is bland sweet dough. Palate is weak and bubbly.
Glouglouburp (1915), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 21, 2008 In short: An extra boring watery entry-level blonde beer
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear yellow body with a long-lasting white head
In long: Extra-slim slightly watery body. Basic flavourless cereals with a drop of lemon. Offensively flavourless. I’ll try to be positive and say that the carbonation is appropriately very soft. Light it is, any lighter and it would float up away from the glass.
hopscotch (4431), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 21, 2008 Draft… DLD’08… Crystal clear, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white, everlasting head. The aroma provides earthy notes of "still-warm" pilsner mash along with subtle notes of spicy hops and whispers of toffee and acetaldehyde. Medium-bodied with crisp carbonation. Moderately sweet with very low bitterness… almost inoffensive except for the acetaldehyde. Certainly bland. Finishes moderately sweet with only a hint of bitterness. lb4lb (1339), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 28, 2008 Pours about clear as water with a hint of yellow and no head. Smell is sweet and sticky corn like malt. Sweet corn malty flavor as well with a hint of balancing hops, but leaning sweet still. Flavorful for a light lager and drinkable. Walt (2268), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2008 Pour is clear yellow with no head...grainy sweet aroma...sweet grainy flavor too...sticky sweet finish...
