Nov 16, 2005 Perfumy, berry nose. Amber color, tight head. Soapy taste and an odd spice effect. Did they not clean my glass out well or something? Thin, watery, boring.

Feb 15, 2004 The aroma was odd...sort of like a fart produced by eating too many prunes (whatever that means)... Flavor was great though and no complaints about the beer overall. I would recommend this every now and then.

Nov 14, 2002 Slight vinegar taste with brown sugar tones. Tart/sour finish. Good lacing throughout.

Nov 13, 2002 Tasted at the Barrelhouse Brewing Company Microbrew Fest on November 9. Dark amber color with a thin head. Sweet aroma. Impressions of grain and brown sugar in the flavor. Not too bad.
