Dark red color with a foamy head. Aromas were balanced between slighly sweet crystal malts and some piney hops, but certainly not a ’big’ nose by any means. This one starts of chewy and malty, showing some carmely flavors, then abruply turning bitter and dry. Unfortunately, there wasn’t really much hop presense to this IPA, either in the nose or on the tounge. A bit disappointing.
