UPDATED: JAN 12, 2013 Draught at Brewery (10/7/08) Poured a pitch black with a nice size tan head. Had an aroma of sweetness, coffee, chocolate, and malt. Taste of coffee, chocolate, alcohol, and some roasted malt. This full bodied brew was not bad but a bit hot and still good.

On tap at Rock Bottom Colorado Springs. Color is dead on black with low carbonation and a small brown head. Aroma is a deep sweet roasted malt scent. It has a full body that goes down easy with a light crisp feel. Flavor comes out with big chocolate, dried fruits and roasted coffee, then a mild bitterness shows. This brew just rocks its easy drinking and very complex.

Tap. Pours opaque with a medium, fizzy brown head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is dark roast, chocolate, and coffee malt, earthy and woody hops with dark fruity esters. Flavor is dark malt, medium sweetness, dark fruits, licorice, wood, medium hoppiness, and a dry finish. Full body, medium warmth and carbonation.
