COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deep chestnut color, notes of toasted caramel, semi-sweet chocolate flavor and a smooth medium body are all characteristics derived from the line up of Victory, English-Munich, chocolate, medium crystal and pale malts. A great choice with any of our Rock Bottom Originals.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a deep amber-brown color with red highlights and a moderate off-white head that faded to a ring. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, light roast, and a light nuttiness. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with some soft chocolate and caramel leading into a light toasted nuttiness that transitions into a soft earthy hoppiness that ends lightly dry. Moderate carbonation and average mouth feel. Overall, a solid yet simple brown that turned out decent, but didn’t really have any standout characteristics.

Had on draught at Colorado Springs Rock Bottom. Aroma is a nice roasted malt scent. Color is a near solid amber with a deep haze. Carbonation is mellow creating a thin but tight head. Taste like a mild Porter. Starting with a medium body it goes sown with a smooth feel. Finish is a deep roasted flavor that has a mild sweetness to it. After taste is clean with a faint bitterness. This is a tasty Brown ale.
