Tap at Rock Bottom Denver.
Pours a deep black with a small head. Nose has plastic raisin bits soaked in watered-down plastic molasses syrup. Flavor is melted plastic chocolate raisin and watery berry spice with a slight vanilla finish. Leaves nothing of note on the tongue. This beer has no soul; it’s like drinking zombie diahrrhea.

Draught at Rock Bottom Denver. Pours opaque with a small, fizzy dark brown head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, cereal, chocolate, nutty), average hop (flowers, perfume), average yeast (dough, leather, earth) with notes of light alcohol, prune, date, wood, and vanilla. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

On tap at Rock Bottom Denver poured a translucent dark brown nearly black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of whiskey, oak, vanilla, milk chocolate and light carmel. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of whiskey, oak, vanilla, milk chocolate and light coffee with a smooth chocolatey finish.

On tap, Rock Bottom Denver. Surprisingly good. Pours dark brown with a tan-brown head. Nose of whiskey, wood, chocolate and dark fruit. Some warming booze also evident on nose. Palate is quite full, but not unpleasantly syrupy. I got rich chocolate upfront, followed by fascinating vinous-cherry, and roasted flavors. Very bold, with a smooth and warming finish. Excellent.

Black pour w/ a well laced tan head. Huge whiskey aroma, lots of vanillas, touch of butter. Palate is smaller than i expected a light alcohol in the swallow as well, but this coats the mouth well. Whiskey dominates the flavor w/ a chocolate malt back, some vanilla comes through but the beer is muddled by the overpowered by the whiskey. Good but not great.
