Tap @ Rock Bottom Denver. The pour’s light gold with a tiny white head. The nose is buttered bread, some general grain and little else. The taste is mild yeast, some water and sweet grains, honey. Slightly syrupy. Light body, mild carbonation. OK.

Sampler at the Rock Bottom Westminister on 9/27/2012. This Kolsch pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied Kolsch. The malts are fruity and cereal. The hops are earthy and slightly spicy. Good carbonation. Nice balance, A little crisp tasting, but no off flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft at brewpub in Omaha. Poured clear golden color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate fruity sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

On tap at Rock Bottom in DIA. Insanely expensive. Pours golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of lemon, wheat, and that’s about it. Taste has a little wheat and some slight lemon. Nothing to this beer. Like drinknig water with a little lemon. Not good.

Flavors are bready, biscuity, clean and lightly grassy. Nice and delicate malt character. Medium bubbles and body. A pretty outstanding American Rendition of a Kolsch. Shockingly good.
