On tap at the Downtown Denver location. Pour is straw with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Highly estery, musty, fruity, pear, coriander, somewhat wheaty, and grassy aroma. Taste is phenolic, pepper, coriander, tangy, fruity, and floral with a light spicy bite on the backed. Medium body with high carbonation. Decent.

brokensail (10547) - Orange County, California, USA - OCT 10, 2013
On tap @ Rock Bottom Denver. Pours a lightly hazed golden color with a white head. Sweet banana, candied pears, apples, and some candy sugar. Mild clove spice, yeast, and cider. Flavor is very sweet. Tons of cider, pear, apple, and banana. Sugary. Light spice and pear juice. Donít dislike it, but not a good saison.

Hazy gold with no lasting head. Nice Belgian yeasty aroma of bubblegum, barn funk, tart apple, light pepper, a touch of candied banana...like a good hearty saison should smell. Taste is bright and malty with a good ammount of barn funk yeast, some peppery apple tone, malty phenols, and a dry yeasty finish. Strong and full bodied, well rounded and true to the style. Canít really find fault except that itís a little on the boozy side. But tastes great.

Cloudy yellow thin white head. Medium aroma is stgraight corriander. Medium-bodied, lots of corriander...this is supposed to have ginger, i guess thereís ginger if iím looking for it but thhe corriander stands out above all else. Good finish.

notalush (4765) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Thanks to beastiefan2k for buying - hazy straw color - foamy head - seriously over carbonated, which makes the mouthfeel a little abrasive - nose of toasted wheat, dusty yeast, cobweb, citrus - a bit sweet up front, with some notes of orange - dries out through the middle, with some cracked grains, a little flinty character - yeasty, wheaty finish - not bad, really.

750ml capped bottle from the brewpub. Shared with notalush and apoptosis, and Abbey. A bit of foam after uncapping. Bubbly, foamy, soapy head that never completely fades. Thick dark golden color, cannot see through it but a of visible carbonation bubbles. Aroma is sweet candy with a small lemon hint. A bit of graininess to it. Flavor is similar the sweetness is sightly offset by the strong carbonation with slight bit of herbalness at the end. The carbonation is too strong. Itís a good beer but too sweet and carbonation is off. For the price it was great.
