draft. yeast dust, toasted bread crumb and nuts in the nose. medium-light body, a bit too flabby for it’s sweetness and carbonation. simple and sweet chestnut brown malt flavor with a light dusting of yeast and medium-low hop bitterness. a very basic beer with a watery finish and little to hold your interest, but lacks any overt flaws.

Draft @ DIA. Dark brown, somewhat cloudy, unfiltered, with a tan head. Decent nose of toasted grains, some chocolate malt, even some roast... notes of bready chocolate, charred toast, etc. Body is medium to light, dissolves on the back. Minimally astringent. Good presentation of roast for a brown ale, some charred bread, some cracked barley, cereal grains, etc. Nice enough for a brown ale.

Draft at Omaha brewpub. Poured clear brown color with average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate toasted nutty malt aroma. Flavor was moderate malty bittersweet with an average bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Good brew with homestyle food.

Has a rather light scent of chocolate and coffee. Taste is the same as scent, decent body but quite a mild beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark and hazy brown, only slightly see-through. Molasses and toast on the nose. Taste is more complex than I expected. I’m getting cinnamon, light chocolate malts, a mild floral hoppiness with a sweet finish, with just a hint of molasses again. An impressive brown considering the letdown of some of their other brews.

Tap @ Loveland location. Dark brown body with a brownish and creamy head. Malty brown and nutty nose. Flavor is a pretty basic brown ale with some nuttiness. Well executed beer but still just marginally above average.

On tap at the Denver airport. Clear dark brown pour with a small light beige head.  Nice aroma of roasted malts, caramel, and chocolate.  Roasty nutty flavor with bitter chocolate and malty sweetness.  Medium body with average carbonation.  An above average but not too exciting brown ale overall.

Tap at the DIA venue. Pours dark amber/brown with a beige head. "Brown roast" malt aroma. Flavor is medium caramel with definite chocolate, though not much. Enough bitter to be noticeable. Nice. (not getting any nuttiness though)
