Made with 2 row malted barley, flaked corn, pure cane sugar and spiced with coriander. Hops are Warrior, Simcoe and Czech Saaz. Fermented with Ardennes (Belgian) Ale yeast. Fruity aromas accompany spice notes from the yeast. Creamy smooth malt flavors with some peppery spice tang from the coriander. Hops are just enough to balance and lend some herbal and citrus notes. Aged over a month and a half.

[On-tap at Rock Bottom Des Moines] Pours gold with a nice white head. Aroma is fruity, with golden raisin and prune. The taste has a big apple presence, then transitions into wheat, and moderate alcohol. Too hot. I think there was some light spice too, but I got that at the end after Id had some carrot cake, so Im not sure about it. Medium mouthfeel, smooth. Not bad, but failed to overly impress, and the alcohol was not very well hidden.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a golden color with white head. Malty, fruity, dry aroma. Flavor similiar to a white wine. Very interesting. Cool beer.

Sampled at the 2009 Parkville microbrew festival. Pours light golden with a white head. This beer was yummy good. Has a very pronounced bubblegum aroma. The flavor generates a lot of pepper on my tongue. Surprisingly great.

Growler. Pours a completely clear golden color with a small head that almost simultaneously fades into nothing. Aroma is grainy with fruity esters and fruity hops spikes. There is a good amount of citrus, possibly coriander. It is a very nice mix of aspects, well balanced. Taste is less complex but with that herbal yeast finish. Otherwise lightly sweet with some bitter light hoppiness. Very nice and highly drinkable.

Growler that beastiefan2k grabbed at the brewpub and shared with us. Pour is mostly clear golden with a smallish white head. Aroma of sweet fruit (non-sour cherry), floral, spiciness and some bright resin hoppiness behind that. Taste is the nose, with a honey sweetness in addition to the fruit from the nose off the back. Yeasty spiciness with the floral hops. Palate is medium, grassy and has the bitterness in the back. I enjoyed this one, thanks for sharing Eugene.

RockFest II, Chicago, IL: This poured a clear yellow body with a HUGE foamy head, and I had to wait some time before I could drink it. The aroma was yeasty and fruity - sweet red cherries mostly - with aome sweet pale malt beneath it. Medium bodied, it had a candly-like flavor, fruity but never cloying. Nice beer.
