3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught in Colorado Springs at Rock Bottom. Aroma is faint with just a hint of malt. Color is a hazy amber with a nice tight head and somewhat low carbonation. It has a medium body that goes down crisp. Finish is a mild malt flavor with a nice hop taste and a full bitterness. Aftertaste is dry as the bitterness lingers. This is a tasty and well done Alt.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Highly drinkable, but watery. My second least favorite of the not very good rock bottom beers. Some amber malt flavor, but not too much of anything. No hops of course.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Highly drinkable...that is what their intent is, right??? Vibrant burnt orange body with average clean white head. The aroma is minimal at best; with notes of caramel, toffee, and brown sugar. Flavor follows and is also minimal at best!!! You’d think they’d step it up a notch with a Special Edition ale. I think, instead of adding qualities one would think about when envisioning the job of firefighter (strength, bold flavors, smoke), they added what every good firefighter needs...WATER!!! It’s all about the Benjamin’s!!! At least the proceeds go to a GREAT charity.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very thin and watered-down amber ale, to the point that I really had no idea what they were shooting for with this beer. Very unremarkable drink.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the KOP location and billed as a malty ESB. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a creamy/bubbly off white lightly lacing head. Aroma of malt, sweet toffee, some nuts and caramel. Flavor of toffee, nuts, toasted malts, slight hop bitterness.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not very interesting flavor. I had hoped for better out of a new one I had in a sampler. Low hop flavor

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap in Bellevue. Pours a clear bright copper with a fading but lacy white head. Pine and grapefruit hop aroma, backed up by a dollup of sweet malt. Medium body and moderate carbonation. The style math for this beer says "APA," it’s right in there between Amber and IPA. Lightly sweet taste of fruit, citrus and caramel with a crisp, bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ Rock Bottom King of Prussia - amber pour with medium white head. Light malty-caramel aroma with hints of Brit hops. Taste was a nice cross between ESB and amber. Decent & sessionable.
