3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Deep brown body with an off-white, fizzy head. Aroma of ash, burnt wood, raw grain and resin. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Plenty of burnt, ash taste, though itís balanced with sweet malts. A little too roasty, but thereís less clash in flavors between the hops and roasted malts than in other beers of this style.
