1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
A farmhouse with a weak body, no complex malt, and little Belgian yeast. To compensate, the brewers have attempted to overburden the ale with odd and unnecessary flavors. It’s a very poor representation of the style.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Old BA rate - tap)
Bright (but hazy) yellow gold color; mostly white head that dissipated rapidly. Yeasty; bit of spice; cloves; some sourness. Tastes like a solid saison with few frills; yeasty; spicy; cloves; and a very tart finish. Thinner; subtle carbonation; carried the brew well. Pretty good; refreshing and tart for the style. Overall, pretty nice and took me off-guard.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Saison’s can vary widely in aroma and flavor depending on the spices, but this just wasn’t anything close to a saison in my opinion. Amber and no head (strike 1). Sugar and no spice in the aroma (strike 2). Very sweet with little else in the flavor (strike 3). In addition, very little yeast and carbonation. Less than a dry finish. The lacing wasn’t bad, though.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
This was the first beer we tried at the downtown Indy location - it was one of their seasonals. Pours a amber with no head. The nose is sugary sweet with hints of caramel. The body was simply underattenuated on this - lots of residual sugars made it hard to drink. The delicate saison yeast was just lost in this and the finish was far from drying. Not a good example IMO.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Cincinnati RB location. Hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head thar mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and spice aroma. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour citrus finish of moderate duration. Refreshing flavor.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
Rock Bottom in downtown Indianapolis, IN:This beer's appearance consisted of a large sized white head with fine-large sized bubbles. The body was uncarbonated cloudy and it had a pale yellow hue.The nose was definitely fruity with a bitter taste. The palate was tingly and light-medium bodied. There was a good amount of lacing with this beer.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
THis brew poured a large head of fine to large sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a hazy yellow colored body with no visible carbonation. It had a fruity saison-like aroma and a biting fruity mouthfeel. The flavor was also biting and fruity.
