DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 19, 2005 On tap in KOP. Coppery/ruby pour, with aroma of malt, fruit, brown sugar, and caramel. Tastes malty, very brown sugary woth some toffee and a light fruit finish. Not bad. richlikebeer (747), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 17, 2005 On tap at King of Prussia as their Rotating Dark beer. Came out as a very deep brown, but not opaque. Head was very nice, creamy, and laced the sides of the glass all the way down. The flavor and the aroma were both dominated by roasted malts, and as the beer got a bit warmer, coffee flavor started to come in on the tail end. Nothing bad about the aftertaste, the medium body went down very smooth. The sampler at the bar had 5 beers to try, and this was the one I went back for and ordered the whole pint.
