Cloudy golden pour orange tint to it, thin layer of soapy bubbly creamy head and light sticky lacing ... aroma is of floral and resiny hops, grapefruity and rindy hops with some toasted and caramel malts ..... taste of light piney, citrusy grapefruit and rindy hops, lightly toasted malts, floral hop, nice bitter resiny bite that lingers for a bit and caramel malts .... finishes dry hopped and rindy ... nice malty flavors on the backend and a great bitter rindy/resiny hop flavor ... good stuff abv hidden well

From a growler shared by jwattsrugger. Poured bright yellow with a foamy white head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit being dominate. Citrus hop bitterness in the flavor. Moderate bodied with hop oil dulling the tongue. Very nice, thanks John for bringing this.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a semi clear orange gold with a frosty white head. Simcoe hops dominate the aroma. Also, orange citrus, funk and light pine present in the nose. Taste of simcoe hops, orange citrus, grapefruit, pine and funk.

Golden simcoe dry hopped. There are pleasant citrus, piney sweet notes. It pours light golden amber with a decent creamy white head. The flavors of smooth hops right away, again sweet and piney, which settle elegantly without any hop or boozy bite at all. The body is medium.

Awesome IPA on draft at the KoP Rock Bottom. The beer poured a bright golden color with a substantial white head. The head left some nice, cascading lace around the glass. The nose was very floral and smacked me right in the face with all the hops. The body was quite assertive, as well, with a ton of resiny, sticky and delicious dry and spicy hops.

Poured turbid yellow-gold with little to no head. It did leave some lacing. Aroma was freshly floral and citric, slightly bready, and caramel. Again it was floral, bitterly citric, caramel. The malt wasn’t balanced too well unfortunately. Had a bit of a dry resinous finish. Standard IPA nothing special.

Poured a hazy dark golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, toasted malts, some toffee, grass, and pine. Taste of citrus fruits, some toffee malts, toast, pine resin, and a dry, bitter, grapefruit finish.

Highly carbonated with lots of pillowy white head! Smell is of grapefruity hops. Color is golden, cloudy and very impressive. Mouthfeel is very rich, almost like a DIPA. This is a west coast IPA all the way. Lots of grapefruit hops with a little pine in the background. Nice malt backbone to make it a rich beer. This is very much like KOP Rock Bottom’s Sub Zero IPA but with more grapefruity hops. Both are excellent. I’d drink this again anytime.

Hop Bomb has made a comeback to KOP in 2009. Big ole’ grapefruit hops bitterness and aroma, blended well with malt sweetness. Pleasant citrus infused IPA that further elevates this brewpubs line-up for me.
