New England Bucket List Trip #246. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, caramel, hints of smoke. The taste is toffee, chocolate, dark fruits, hints of smoke. Medium bodied.

Been a while since I had a Scotch Ale. Mahogany, medium bodied with earthiness, strong malt presence. Everything you wanted in a fresh, locally brewed Scotch Ale. Rock Bottom is no Jerk Store!

On tap 2/25/10 at KOP. Pours golden brown with a thin, off-white head. nose of light fruit, caramel, and fruit esters. flavor was heavy esters, apple cider, caramel malt. finish was short-lived and malty sweet. mouthfeel was creamy.
