Rock Bottom King of Prussia Simcoe Weizen

On tap at the KOP location. Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white head that left lacing down the sides of the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, earthy, wheat, cereal grains and mixed citrus. Simcoe not over the top in the nose but you can tell it is there. Flavor of Hefe yeast esters...banana, clove, a little earthy. Some tart wheat, the citrus notes from the Simcoe linger. Some grassy notes. This is a well done fresh Hefe, so it’s kind of tough for the Simcoe to really come through with all those Hefe esters. But it’s there and is a nice touch.
