Dec 22, 2009 On Cask. Pours with a black body and a tan ring. Aroma of coffee and vanilla. Taste is strong coffee without much else. Creamy, lightly carbonated mouthfeel.

Feb 9, 2009 A cask offering. The pour was ultra dark brown with a nice sized tan head that had decent retention and produced some rings of lacing. The aroma was sweet with graham cracker and chocolate being most prominent and coffee coming in behind those. The flavor was a mix of roasted coffee, chocolate and sweeter caramel malts. Average mouthfeel. Sweet and flavorful without at all being cloying.

Nov 12, 2007 Updated: Nov 13, 2007on draft at brewery, consumed on 11/12/07. Dark brown to black, no head, no active carbonation. Aroma is totally coffee. Flavor is likewise like drinking a cup of black coffee. So much coffee flavor, I expcted to find coffee grounds in my teeth. Slightly astringent finish with... is that a hop flavor? If this is perhaps inspired by Alesmith’s Speedway Stout, then they need to drink some more inspiration.
