wcampbell (419), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 16, 2008 Draft in Boston. Drank with a sample with their other beers. It might not have been bad for a pale lager, but it was not that good compared to the other beers (which weren’t very good either. A little watery, but some malt flavor is detectable.
joeymacaroni (108), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2008 tap @ King of Prussia. pours clear pale straw. nose of corn and wheat maltiness. light fruitiness. flavor is heavy corn/ wheat.so is finish. kinda like nati-boh, which isn’t always a bad thing. Nate (2238), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 22, 2008 From draught sample at Bethesda. Has a light pils aroma, with beany rubbery hops and light carbonic acidity. Really close to a Bud but more tasty than a light beer. Light yellow clear with a thin white head. Light body, watery, with light carbonation. Starts with mild pilsner malt sweetness and a little corn. Mild beany hops but overall mild. No bitterness in the finish or after. Definitely appeases traditional light beer drinkers. ratman197 (2272), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 17, 2008 On tap @ Rock Bottom Westminster poured a clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, yeast and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, bread and a hint of citrus with a smooth clean finish. heemer77 (3667), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jul 15, 2008 On tap as Heartland Light in Des Moines. The body was pale yellow with a white colored head. The aroma was malty with some carrots. The taste was bitter and earthy with some corn notes. This had a light palate with a spicy finish. hellbilly (862), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA May 19, 2008 scottsdale location says it’s a vienna 5.3% abv "toasty aroma, noble hops". pale golden color with a thin white head. faint aroma... grass, a touch of caramel, grass and graininess. tastes almost exactly like the happy pils next to it... light fruitiness, a bit sweet, earth and mild yeast characters. crisp clean yeasty finish... not a good vienna, not a terrible pale lager.
