On tap at RB Milwaukee. Poured clear lighter amber with a sticky cap of off-white head. The aroma was very malt forward with toasty caramel and some molasses leading.. earthy hops and a touch of smoke around.. dry and unsubstantial. The flavor found smoke and caramel again at the core.. some dark fruit and earthy bitterness around.. not much to the finish. Light-ish bodied, dry, and scratchy on the palate.. bright and sharp on the edges with a weak feel across the middle.. not good, especially for and IPA.
