RAYBOY01 (1556), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2008 Fairly timid pilsener, with light caramel sweetness and lighter hop bite. Just ho-hum. drewbeerme (1716), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2008 on tap at Rock Fest ’08. pours clear hazy blond with white head. grassy hop nose. bland crisp and watery palate. okay. dm9831 (530), Monee, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2008 hazy yellow, some sudsy bubles on top. aroma is airy grain. the flavor was spicy sweetness. watery mouth feel. a bit too sweet for me.

FEST Cornfield (4254), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2008 This one seemed a bit on the light side. Nice look, a pale golden body with a frothy head and ample lacing. The aroma was a soft pale malty sweetness with a suggestion of hops. The latter grew in flavor and bitterness during the drinking, but not quite up to the level that I like in a Pilsener.

1FastSTi (2357), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Mar 10, 2008 Tap. Clean golden body with a white head and excellent lacing. Nice visible carbonation percolating up through the beer. Saaz hops and clean malt pervades the flavors. Crisp clean malt and saaz hops on the aroma too. Decent bitterness with a crisp refreshing quality that’s easy to drink. Enjoyable! Call me crazy, but this was actually good.
