Draft sample at MSP. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate toasted malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish that was moderate in duration. This is a solid beer for style.

Draft... RBSG 07... Beautiful, clear amber lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Im unable to pull much out of the glass, aroma-wise, except restrained acetaldehyde. The flavor leans just a hair on the sweet side of balance, with sweet Vienna and crystal malts almost equaled by peppery hops. Ethanal rears its ugly head atop my palate as well. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, mostly clean finish.

Dogbrick (10409) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 13, 2008
Sample at the MSP location. Pours a mostly clear dark red color with a minimal light beige head that disappears almost immediately. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty with touches of caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet malt and toffee along with some hops. The finish is sweet with a lingering malt aftertaste. Average overall.

Sammy (10326) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 27, 2008
Amber with soapy off-white head that dissipitates to minimum. Leaves lace, lots of it. Decent malt, and bitter secondary. Average or even slightly better mouthfeel and drinkable. A repectable amber ale. The local brewer here has certainly got his act together to produce respectable though not ambitious ale, which is as good as you can hope for.

Pours red with white head, aroma of some pine and metallic hops, with some caramel. Taste up front includes pine and some caramel, leading into a slightly bitter finish with a touch of biscuit. Not bad, but not much going on.

Tap at MSP airport. Deep copper coloured beer. Aroma is lightly malty and toasty with a light caramelly sweetness. There is a noticible kiss of spicy hops behind the sweetness. Very clean if a little bit too sweet. Its a pretty solid brew really, even if it isnt really my thing.
