Hoppy nose, big and fruity, citrusy. Nice. Hazy amber in color with excellent lace. Not much head. Flavor not nearly as hoppy as the aroma. A little unbalanced. Alcohol is too prevalent for the style. Malts overpower the finishing hops. Has some flaws, but reasonably quaffable.

On tap, as part of a tasting tray enjoyed while patiently waiting out a weather delay in the airport enroute to Chicago. Light golden low white head. Very fresh pink grapefruit aroma and flavour, medium bitterness. Very fresh and hoppy, surprisingly delicious!

Pours a copper color with thick lace. Aroma is of a resin, grass, spruce like hoppiness. Also has a light ceral maltiness. Medium to heavy bitterness and light sweetness. Light to medium body, soft carbonation and dry finish.

Pours amber with white head. Aroma has biscuit, grapefruit, touch of orange. Taste is grapefruit up front, caramel and biscuit middle with a fairly bitter pine finish. Not too bad!

Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport - on tap. Dark golden pour with an off white head that leaves a nice bit of lacing. Faint spruce in the aroma with some hints of mint. Maple syrupy sweetness with a solid citrus grapefruit back end. Slightly stinging mouthfeel - but overall, pretty solid.

Tonight the beer was better than the food...but what does that say? The APA was quite nice, I liked the ample hop presence and a fulfilling mouthfeel.

Draft sample at MSP. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hops and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Lots of floral hops and taste in this one. Much better than the IPA. Well done overall and a surprise.

Draft at the MSP airport bar. Thin, with weak metallic hoppiness. I found it underwhelming, but drinkable enough and worth killing a long layover slugging thru. (#3572, 6/25/2009)

From tap at Minneapolis airport bar. Very good APA with pleasant, flavorful aroma of citrus and pine hops. Enjoyable, well balanced with nice dry finish - cheers!

Tap at the Minneapolis airport. Pale amber beer with a sticky white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with a touch of fresh C-hops. Some light grapefruit and a touch of pine as well. Nice lightly sweet doughy malts. Good balance, fairly low bitterness, but with a nice fresh hoppiness. It’s a pretty nice sesionable ale.
