COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light straw-colored Premium Lager. Brewed with Pilsen malt for a hint of honey flavor and a light body. Mt. Hood hops provide the crisp refreshing finish. A great introduction of craft brewed lagers. Great with light flavored fare.

On tap at the Minneapolis location. Pours a mostly translucent golden with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet cereal malt, grassy, some fruity notes and light citrus. Flavor was grassy, sweet malts, light citrus and not a whole lot more.

Draft @ Minneapolis Brewpub: Clear beige, nice thick white head and lots of lacing. Nose of light husk and tin, metal and peach pit. Light hop. The flavor is thin and grassy, pale. Finishes watery, too husky to be clean, not crispy enough to be good.

RBSG 07 on tap from a sampler. A clean golden pour with white head and lace. Aro aroma of clean malt and corn. As I would expect the paper flavor was there. A little thin and a little fizzy but really ok. A pretty good offering all round for the style. Clean and decent for the style.

On tap (sampler) at the Minneapolis location, RBSG 2007 pre-tasting dinner. Clear straw with a big white head. Decent lace. Cereal grain nose, lightly grassy. Thin, blah pale lager, as expected. Inoffensive and slammable. Yay. Next...

On tap (sampler) at the Minneapolis location, June 2007. Pale straw colour with a thin white head. A touch of light biscuity malt in the aroma but not a lot else. Fairly dry mouthfeel with just a hint of grassy hop in the flavour. Not surprisingly, the body is quite thin. Not unpleasant. Not very interesting. Most brewpubs feel the need to have a light beer for the BMC drinkers and it works reasonably well from that perspective.

Brewpub draft. Pale gold, small white head. Crisp and grainy with subtle, lightly floral hops. Light body, very easy to drink. Not bad, good lawnmower beer.

Skyview (5209) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Sampled at brewpub prior to RBSG’07. Pours a clear golden brew with a small white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and good lacing. Aroma is light with lightly roasted malt, breakfast cereal, and a touch of caramel. Taste is llightly sweet, carbonated with a short lived hop finish. Very clean aftertaste.

Sample from tap at the brewpub in Minneapolis. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Fruity aroma and flavour. Seems a bit off/bad.

On tap @ the brew pub: Poured a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy hops, yeast, grains. Flavor, bready and grassy, some sweetness. Not so good.

Draft... RBSG 07... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention and good, sticky lacework. Acetaldehyde (yuck!) all over the grainy aroma, along with notes of spent mash. Over-crushed or over-sparged, I think. Ethanal comes through in the mildly tangy, grainy flavor as well. Light-bodied with modest carbonation. Short, crisp, watery finish
