Rock bottom Orland Park berliner weiss...pours a semi cloudy hazy yellow brown
with a thin soapy white head... Little straw, pale wheat, little
lemon.... Tastes refreshing with a flavor array of lemony tartness and wheat. Nice, perfect for warmer days, and equally drinkable. nice beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared by Adam on the bus on the way down to the MiBSF, thanks a lot! Poured a hazy pale gold with minimal head. Aroma was thin with light tart fruits and a bit of wheat backing that up. Flavor began more tart with even a few vinous note, but it mellows to a nice finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler pour on the RBSG Friday Bus Trip. Pours mildly hazy yellow; nose is quite tart with some light sulphur notes blending in the the lacto and lemon that "run the show" aroma-wise on this one. Flavours are lemons, tart lacto, and white pepper. Mildly funky and unique, I’d have this agan anytime.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Mug club draft at the brewpub (Orland Park, IL). Pours a nice hazy yellow straw, lighter with a small whitish head dies to a touch of film, pretty much nothing. Aromas are tart lemons and tart wheat, flaked wheat, bread, a touch of sweet tarts. Light and refreshing. Initial is light bodied with tart lemons moving into the fold, a bit fizzy on the palate with lemon rind, lemonade, flaked wheat and bread. a good sour tartness. Lingering sour lemons, a decent acidity, tart and refreshing. A good nice summer Berliner, tart with flaked wheat and a lighter bready body. Light body, spritzy, and refreshing. I liked this. A solid Berliner recipe by Terry Frey of BOSS here. Simple and tasty, a bit of a lactic lingering quality. A great sour wash and refreshing on the palate, this is how a Berliner should be. Extra point for being as such, a great beer I could drink all the time
